  • 1 medium white onion, diced
  • 4 cans pork and beans (14 ounces each)
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a large frying pan, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and chop into pieces.
  3. In the remaining bacon grease, sauté the diced onion until tender.
  4. Mix in ketchup, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and chopped bacon; simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Combine the four cans of pork and beans in the baking dish, remove excess liquid if needed, then stir in the mixture from the frying pan.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes to caramelize.
  7. Let cool for about 20 minutes before serving.
