- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- 6 tablespoons softened butter
- 6 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh rosemary
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh thyme

- Bring the beef tenderloin to room temperature by removing it from the fridge for 1 to 2 hours.
- In a bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme; set aside.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). If needed, trim and tie the tenderloin.
- Pat the meat dry, then season generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat avocado oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat, then sear the beef on all sides until golden brown (about 10 minutes).
