  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 1/3 cups heavy cream
  • 1 1/3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and prep two 8-inch baking pans.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sifted cocoa powder.
  3. Add buttermilk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and eggs; mix until just combined.
  4. Stir in hot coffee until smooth.
