  • 2 chicken breasts (cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • 1/2 pound shrimp (thawed & peeled)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • Olive oil
  • Butter
  • Garlic

Instructions

  1. Soften cream cheese at room temperature or microwave briefly.
  2. Cook fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente; drain.
  3. Season chicken and shrimp with garlic powder and half the Cajun seasoning.
  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook shrimp for about 3 minutes; set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, cook chicken for 5-6 minutes until browned; set aside.
  6. Prepare sauce by combining butter, cream, cream cheese, remaining seasoning, and garlic in the skillet; stir until melted.
  7. Thicken sauce for 2-3 minutes before adding chicken, shrimp, and parmesan.
  8. Toss cooked fettuccine with the sauce and serve hot.
