Ingredients
- 1 lb smoked sausage (sliced)
- 2 lbs diced potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 onion (diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the sliced smoked sausage for about 5–7 minutes, then set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté diced onion and minced garlic until translucent (about 3–4 minutes).
- In a mixing bowl, combine diced potatoes, cooked sausage, sautéed onions and garlic, cheddar cheese, ranch dressing mix, milk, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 60 minutes covered and then an additional 15 minutes uncovered until golden brown.
