  • 2 chicken breasts (cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1/2 medium onion (chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2/3 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup full-fat sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 12 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 12 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken into pieces, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Dredge in flour.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until browned, about 3 minutes per side. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil and butter. Sauté mushrooms and onions until browned, about 6–8 minutes.
  4. Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic; cook for an additional minute.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and return cooked chicken to the skillet. Cook for another two minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream until well combined. Adjust seasoning as needed.
