  • 12 oz broccoli florets
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • ½ cup low-sodium vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • ¾ cup onion (finely chopped)
  • 23 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped ginger

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, vegetable broth, maple syrup, sesame oil, and cornstarch until smooth.
  2. Heat olive oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add sliced chicken breast; season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from the pan.
  4. In the same pan, stir-fry onion, garlic, and ginger for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Add broccoli florets and cook until bright green.
  5. Return chicken to the pan, pour in the sauce, and stir well to coat all ingredients evenly.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
