- 1 tsp espresso powder

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream softened butter with white and brown sugars using an electric hand mixer until fluffy.
- Mix in cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, espresso powder, and salt until well combined.
- Beat in eggs one at a time along with peppermint extract.
- Gradually add flour and milk alternately until smooth.
- Fold in dark chocolate chips gently using a rubber spatula.
- Pour batter into a greased loaf pan lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool before frosting with icing made from powdered sugar, milk, peppermint extract, and Greek yogurt.
