Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar (for topping)
  • 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for filling)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 (8 oz) cans Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and spray a 9×13 inch baking pan with non-stick spray.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup sugar and 2 Tbsp cinnamon for the topping.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add in 1/2 cup sugar, egg, and vanilla; mix until creamy.
  4. Unroll one can of crescent dough and press into the bottom of the prepared pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough layer.
  6. Unroll the second can of dough and place it on top of the cream cheese mixture, pressing gently to seal edges.
  7. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon-sugar on top and bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
