  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ cup sour cream (room temperature)
  • 2 tablespoons milk (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
  • 23 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a muffin pan with liners.
  2. In one bowl, mix all dry ingredients except sugars. In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, vegetable oil, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until well combined. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
  3. For the streusel topping, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, sea salt, and cubed butter until crumbly.
  4. Spoon batter into muffin liners until two-thirds full and generously sprinkle with streusel topping.
  5. Bake for 18 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
