- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- ¾ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp dried parsley
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar; let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Whisk olive oil and egg in another bowl; add the yeast mixture once ready.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine potato flakes, bread flour, garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, oregano, parsley, and salt.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until combined. Knead for about 5 minutes if using a stand mixer.
- Fold in both types of shredded cheese until evenly distributed.
- Transfer dough to a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap or a damp towel, and let rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough gently; divide it in half and shape into loaves on a lined baking sheet.
- Cover again and let rise for an additional 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake loaves for about 20 minutes until golden brown; cool before slicing.
