  • 12 oz linguine
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Spices: smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, black pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot; cook linguine until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Cook in a skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat for about 5-6 minutes per side until done. Slice into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In the same skillet, lower heat and add butter and garlic; sauté until fragrant. Stir in Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and chicken broth; simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add heavy cream and bring to a slight boil until thickened. Mix in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  5. Combine sliced chicken and drained linguine into the sauce; toss well to coat.
