- 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
- 1 large yellow onion (chopped)
- 2 packages mild taco seasoning
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) petite diced tomatoes (drained)
- 1 can (4 ounces) diced green chilies (mild)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 large bag Nacho Cheese Doritos
- 1½ cups shredded Jack cheese
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (204ºC) and spray a 9X13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, green chilies, sour cream, and cream of mushroom soup until well combined.
- Layer one-third of crushed Doritos at the bottom of the baking dish, followed by half of the beef mixture, then another third of Doritos, the remaining beef mixture, and top with the last third of Doritos.
- Sprinkle shredded Jack and cheddar cheeses on top.
- Bake uncovered for about 20 minutes or until bubbly.
