Ingredients
- 12 oz broccoli florets

- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1.5 tbsp shaoxing wine (or dry sherry)
- 1.5 tbsp sesame oil
- 1.5 tsp cornstarch
- 3/4 tsp sugar
- 3/4 cup cold water
Instructions
- Wash and strain the broccoli florets until clean.
- In a small bowl, mix minced garlic, oyster sauce, soy sauce, shaoxing wine, sesame oil, cornstarch, sugar, and cold water.
- Bring a pot of water to boil in a wok or large pan; blanch the broccoli for 2-3 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Strain the broccoli and place it on a serving platter.
- Dry the wok/pan and pour in the prepared sauce mixture; simmer until thickened (1-2 minutes).
- Pour the thickened sauce over the broccoli and toss gently to coat evenly. Serve immediately.
