  • 3/4 cup sour cream, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 large apples, chopped
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • sprinkle of lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter; press into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. Beat room-temperature cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar and flour, then mix in sour cream, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  4. Incorporate eggs one at a time until just mixed.
  5. Pour half the filling onto the crust, layer with chopped apples mixed with brown sugar and spices, then top with remaining filling.
  6. Bake for about 50 minutes until set. Cool completely before refrigerating for at least four hours.
