Ingredients
- 2 large chicken breasts
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Flour (for dredging)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter (divided)
- 8 ounces cremini mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 large clove garlic (minced)
- 3/4 cup marsala wine
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise to create thin cutlets. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Dredge in flour.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken cutlets for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and sliced mushrooms. Cook for 3-5 minutes until browned.
- Stir in minced garlic and pour in marsala wine; let bubble for 2-3 minutes.
- Add heavy cream to the skillet, mix well, then return chicken to the pan to simmer for another 4-5 minutes until cooked through.
