Ingredients
- 14–15 oz canned salmon (well drained)
- 1 medium yellow onion (finely diced)
- 1/2 red bell pepper (diced)
- 2 Tbsp olive oil (divided)
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter (divided)
- 1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
- 1 large egg (lightly beaten)
- 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup parsley (finely minced)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat with olive oil and butter.
- Sauté the diced onion and bell pepper until golden brown, about 7-9 minutes. Remove from heat.
- In a mixing bowl, flake the canned salmon and add sautéed vegetables along with Panko breadcrumbs, beaten egg, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, black pepper, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into patties approximately two inches wide.
- Clean the skillet and heat remaining oil and butter. Cook the patties for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden brown.
