  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups eggnog
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the bread into 1-inch cubes and place half in a greased baking dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, eggnog, nutmeg, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the egg mixture over the bread cubes.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, white sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Sprinkle half over the bread.
  6. Repeat layering with remaining ingredients.
  7. Drizzle melted butter over the top layer.
  8. Bake uncovered for about 35 minutes until golden brown and set in the center.
