  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup honey
  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Coat the chicken pieces in the flour mixture until fully covered.
  3. Heat butter and canola oil in a skillet over medium heat until bubbly.
  4. Add coated chicken to the skillet and cook for 6–8 minutes until golden brown.
  5. In another bowl, mix room temperature butter, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  6. Pour the honey butter sauce over the cooked chicken and toss to coat for an additional 2–3 minutes.
