Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 8 oz smoked sausage (sliced)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Olive oil, salt, and pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the honey garlic sauce by whisking together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and optional red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the sausage slices for about 5 minutes; remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, season shrimp with salt and pepper. Cook for 2–3 minutes on each side until pink; remove from the skillet.
  4. Steam broccoli florets in the skillet with water for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp; drain excess water.
  5. Return sausage and shrimp to the skillet. Pour honey garlic sauce over everything and cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Serve hot over rice or quinoa; garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
