Description

Honey Soy Glazed Salmon is a quick and flavorful dish that combines the sweetness of honey with the umami richness of soy sauce, creating an irresistible glaze that enhances tender salmon fillets.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/8 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • 1214 ounce salmon fillet (2 fillets, 68 oz each)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoon oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine honey and dark soy sauce to create the glaze.
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and ground pepper, rubbing evenly.
  3. Dredge each fillet in flour, shaking off excess.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat; ensure it doesn't burn.
  5. Brush one side of the salmon fillets with glaze and place that side down in the skillet.
  6. Brush the top side with more glaze and cook for 3 minutes on each side until caramelized and cooked through.
  7. Remove from heat, let rest briefly, then serve hot.
