- 1 sheet of defrosted puff pastry (225 grams)
- 50 grams sugar (for dusting)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar (for decoration)
Instructions
- Prepare the custard filling by whisking egg yolks, sugar, and flour until smooth. Gradually add warmed milk while whisking, then cook over low heat until thickened. Stir in vanilla and let cool.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the puff pastry thinly and cut into 1-inch strips. Wrap around cannoli molds, brushing with egg wash and dusting with sugar.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before removing from molds.
- Once cooled, fill each shell with custard using a piping bag or spoon and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
