- 1 lb ground turkey (or preferred protein)
- 4 ribs celery, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 small onion, diced
- 12 oz frozen cauliflower rice
- 3/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp oregano – dried
- 1/4 tsp thyme – dried
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp salt – divided
- 1 tsp garlic powder – divided
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup water or chicken stock for added flavor
- Sliced Green Onions
Instructions
- Heat bacon grease or olive oil in a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned.
- Reduce heat to medium; stir in onion, celery, and bell pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes until tender.
