Ingredients

- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 2 tsps Sambal Oelek
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp fresh ginger (grated)
- 2 tsps cornstarch
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients (except water and cornstarch) in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally until boiling.
- In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry.
- Add the slurry to the saucepan and whisk continuously over medium-low heat for about 5-10 minutes or until thickened.
