Ingredients

  • 4 salmon filets (6 oz each)
  • 2/3 cup orange juice
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • Optional toppings: sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine orange juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer.
  2. Mix cornstarch with water; add to the saucepan and cook until the glaze thickens (3–5 minutes). Remove from heat.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with foil.
  4. Place salmon on the sheet and baste generously with half the glaze. Bake for 14 minutes until flaky.
  5. Broil for an additional minute after basting again with reserved glaze.
  6. Serve over steamed rice or vegetables, garnished with optional toppings.
