- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup hot water
- 2 cups unsalted butter (for frosting)
- 1 1/4 cups peanut butter
- 9 cups powdered sugar
- 6–7 tbsp water or milk
- 6 Reeses, chopped
- Pinch of salt
- 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 8 Reeses, cut in half

- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour three 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and eggs; mix until combined.
- Slowly stir in hot water until smooth.
- Divide batter among prepared pans and bake for about 22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
- For frosting: Beat butter and peanut butter together; gradually add powdered sugar and adjust consistency with water or milk as needed.
- Assemble the cake by layering frosting between cooled cakes and topping with chocolate ganache made from heated cream poured over chocolate chips.
