  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp milk or heavy whipping cream
  • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • Reese's peanut butter cups (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, peanut butter, vegetable oil, and cake mix. Beat until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Poke holes into the cake while it’s still warm.
  4. For the ganache, heat cream until just boiling, pour over chocolate chips, let sit, then stir until smooth. Pour over the cake.
  5. For the frosting, beat together cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth. Spread over the ganache layer.
  6. Top with chopped Reese's cups before serving.
