Ingredients

  • 2 heads cauliflower
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 500ºF (260ºC).
  2. Remove outer leaves from the cauliflower and trim the stem. Cut each head in half lengthwise and slice into 1½-inch thick steaks.
  3. In a small bowl, mix kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over both sides of each steak, then season generously with the spice mixture.
  5. Cover the baking sheet tightly with aluminum foil and roast for 5 minutes. Remove foil and continue roasting for another 10 minutes before flipping and roasting until golden brown (6-8 minutes).
  6. Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with chopped parsley.
