  • 1/2 cup thick caramel sauce
  • Flaky sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cheesecake filling by mixing cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Transfer to a piping bag and refrigerate for about 15 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, beat softened butter with both sugars until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Scoop dough, flatten slightly, add cheesecake filling in the center, and encase it with dough. Shape into tall domes and chill for 20–30 minutes.
