  • 24 oz refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 10.5 oz peeled and deveined shrimp
  • 3 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 2/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Add shrimp and garlic; cook until shrimp turns pink.
  3. Remove shrimp, then add Italian seasoning, cream, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 8–10 minutes until thickened.
  4. Stir in cooked tortellini and gradually add parmesan cheese until melted.
  5. Return shrimp to the skillet; mix gently.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with parsley and lemon slices if desired.
