  • 8 oz brown mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 yellow onion (sliced)
  • 2 cups low sodium beef broth
  • 1 oz package brown gravy mix
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp corn starch
  • ¼ cup water

Instructions

  1. Place sliced mushrooms and onions in the bottom of a 6-quart crock pot. Layer frozen meatballs on top.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together beef broth, brown gravy mix, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, Dijon mustard, black pepper, and garlic until smooth. Pour over the meatballs.
  3. Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 5-6 hours until heated through.
  4. To thicken the gravy, mix cornstarch with water in a small bowl until smooth and add to the crock pot. Cook for an additional 10 minutes until thickened.
  5. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes for a hearty meal.
