  • 1 package (17.5 oz) snickerdoodle cookie mix
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
  • 3 tablespoons caramel topping
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare an 8" baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the snickerdoodle cookie mix, butter, and egg. Mix until blended.
  3. Spread half of the dough in spoonfuls across the bottom of the baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of cinnamon sugar over the dough layer.
  5. Layer the apple pie filling evenly over the dough, then drop spoonfuls of the remaining dough on top.
  6. Top with another teaspoon of cinnamon sugar and drizzle caramel sauce over everything.
  7. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
