Ingredients
- 12–15 jumbo pasta shells
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups fresh spinach (or 1 cup frozen spinach)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Boil salted water in a large pot and cook the jumbo pasta shells until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, 3/4 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, spinach, garlic, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
- Stuff each shell with the filling and place in a greased baking dish.
- Pour marinara sauce over the shells and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.
