  • 3/4 cup warm milk (about 110°F)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk (as needed for consistency)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry until combined.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth. Let it rise in a greased bowl for about an hour.
  3. Prepare the filling by beating cream cheese with sugar and vanilla; fold in strawberries and jam.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread cinnamon-sugar mixture over it, layer with filling, then roll tightly and cut into 12 pieces.
  5. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise again for 30 minutes. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes.
  6. While baking, mix glaze ingredients until smooth; drizzle over baked rolls before serving.
