Meet Sarah
Hey! I’m Sarah, and welcome to my little corner of the internet where everything involves butter, sugar, and a lot of mixing bowls.
Here’s what you’ll find: baking recipes that don’t require fancy equipment or ingredients you’ve never heard of. Chocolate chip cookies. Birthday cakes that look homemade because they are homemade. Banana bread (obviously). Muffins for school lunches. The occasional pie when I’m feeling ambitious.
I test everything in my regular home oven, which is definitely not professional-grade and has a mind of its own. I bake with kids running around, with grocery store ingredients, with measuring cups that don’t quite match. If I can make it work, you can too.
Fair warning: I’m terrible at decorating. My cakes will never look Instagram-perfect, and I’ve made peace with that. I also always forget to bring butter to room temperature, so you’ll see me mention the microwave trick approximately one million times.
